i went through the grueling process of remembering what my forum password was to do 3 things

2) cancel axle for deadnaming me as motthew
3) i guess apply for admin now. time to make a mistake

i think that if the change necessitates adding a cheap/easy way to completely negate the effects of the change, maybe it wasn't a good idea in the first place.
