I really dislike this. I get SMGs printed from RnD all the time and get HoS to unlock them to go goliath hunting with. Not being able to fire the guns that I brought the minerals for is really annoying and dumb.

When I've used it in games, it has appeared in every respect to be a flamethrower, but I never got to test it in combat, so I can't say for certain.

I really think that the mining drone should just act like a vacuum cleaner, sucking up all the ore from any tile it is dragged over, but not running away from the piles of plasma and diamond to go get that one iron ore that it saw.

No, it is only an issue with the phazon, because a durand is too slow to disengage to take advantage of it, and the gygax isn't tough enough to tank damage with it. A Phazon is fast enough to disengage and can do so through walls.

I do think that phazons need a nerf, but really it should be the removal of the drunk-punching. Being able to choose your damage type is good enough for punching as it is.

Plasma is easier to find than silver IIRC Uranium is always the limiting factor for me bringing back enough minerals as miner for robo to build a durand right now anyway. As it should be, uranium is the higher "tier" metal and has more uses. Speaking of phazons, holy fuck nerf their melee...
