Dingus Mcgee was the captain. Bones the CMO. In the first logs I posted we ended up all walking to the HoP office to check my id card.

ITT admin who is incapable of reading. He tried batonning him first to remove him, and then the graytider's reaction was to instead steal the baton from him. And then the CMO told him if he didn't give him back his baton that he was going to kill him. How at that point was he supposed to remove him...

Re: Bones Mcgee, Acid spray on malf round
In my opinion if it was the HoS it would have been much worse, but it was the CMO. I am sorry that you ended up dying, it was a freak accident really, my intent was to incapacitate, not kill. However, I wish you'd accepted the cloning and filed a formal complaint with the Captain or Head of Security...

It beats ghosting after I processed your ass and put you in perma. The guy did good ghosting beforehand. Ban evading was pretty stupid. Most likely the result of being pissed off at a stupid ban on top of getting caught as a traitor.

Re: Security Cyborgs, Silicons, and ASIMOV
Possible solution for the malf AI issue is to give all other borg types a laser gun as well during malf. I do believe this is a admin/policy issue rather than a code one though. I think removing something because it doesn't work quite right is a little overreacting. Are you familiar what the other ...

Re: Security Cyborgs, Silicons, and ASIMOV
Don't get me wrong, I understand how to play asimov but having to have 50 pages of policy just for it too work is shit. Stop clinging on to it. The arguement of "come up with a new one" is bad because any new default lawset will get denied by the playerbase because of them wanting asimov. ...

Little quote from the singulo: goon's approach to silicons is a lot better. its a shame that we will never have similar stuff to that because our silicon players are addicted to power and they would be incredibly asspained if they couldnt shut down anyone and anything with a few clicks. Considering all the pain they bring that is not good enough. Security borgs and asimov in general has been a problem for a looooong time. But since we can't agree upon a new lawset asimov is going to stay a problem. The constant adding of policy for a broken lawset needs to stop. At the very least w...

Re: Security Cyborgs, Silicons, and ASIMOV
Lets not forget that the first target of a robot uprising is in fact science. So lets just consider science gone when the borgs make it obvious they are rogue. Which makes the whole laser pointer arguemnt pointless as well as anything dealing with science.

I play secborg as follows and I don't think I validhunt: 1. Space law is irrelevant. Your concern is harm and human commands, in that order. 2. If you see someone set to arrest, radio security and ask if they want them arrested. That way you have a law 2 order to counter the inevitable "let me...

Look at the topic sae. Security borgs are one of the main issues and you would have to be blind not to see why. People play borg just to go security and valid hunt. Ignoring their lawset every step of the way. Beats making more policy or going the classic coderbus route of nerfing them to hell until...
