Re: Manuel RP is dead

this is a difficult issue to solve because admins have become scared lawyers overly reliant on the rules to make decisions so they can't be dumpstered or attacked by the toxic community It's not quite this. It's more of an issue with a lack of agreement what we, as admins, want from Manuel. We seem...

Re: Rework Cult Stun

Real shotgun users in cult use holy water darts not slugs. Also getting the wall stun with shotgun ammo is a bad idea you have to 1. Be in melee range and; 2. Click their actual sprite. If you can get close enough to baton you can get in to pointblank. It's literally just a matter of being on help ...

Re: Manuel: A Higher Standard of Roleplay

Expecting someone who suicides almost every other round to turn up to Manuel and take it seriously? Come on Nox, that's low hanging fruit.

Re: Doctor is a Less Shit Job Now: The State of Medbay

Cryo is pretty okay for patients dying from wounds but otherwise treatable with regen. Or treatable with iron in the case of heavy blood loss. It isn't used that often mostly because most important healing is done via surgery and you can't do most surgeries while someone is in the pod. That is, heal...

Re: Rework Cult Stun

The comprehensive guide is pretty simple I'll be honest. Don't go into melee against cultists, who predominately have the advantage in a straight melee fight. Fight them from afar where their magic doesn't work. And use ballistics. Taking an imrpovised shotgun and just pinging down cultists with slu...

I just wanna say, this has made saving plasmamen that much harder as any role in medical. If at the very least it's definitely made plasmamen that much more difficult to survive as on the station since there isn't actually even a last resort method to revive them sort of body transplants.

Given stamina damage and actual health damage isn't influenced by one another for whether you enter critical condition, it is actually not an unreasonable suggestion even if it DOES make judging health more tricky.

Manuel: Valuing Your Own Life

One of the core oddities of our other servers is the general lack of consideration or care for ones own life most players tend to have.
