how naming something Adolph is coming close to breaking a rule? t can't refer to a person even a little since it's only first name. Maybe you could have it like energy guns where you can switch modes, so a biological heal mode and an mechanical heal mode. Either that or have a variant of the beamgun that works and mechanical beings

Look at all the time clock cult got put into it and it still didn't survive. I think that's as clear a sign as any that not everything that has time put into it will work.
