Re: Genetics Rework
I like it but it should be an addition not a replacement of the existing role. Genetics already is low in content, why remove the existing gameplay loop? Instead add this as a high-risk, high-reward alternative to it.

Re: Security buffs
Following up from Davidchan, citations used to fine Assistants are a good start but if they don't have money in their accounts then valuable items could be confiscated to pay off the difference as an example.

Re: Security buffs
If the driving purpose behind this change is to stop sec officers from being loot pinatas, then this should instead be taught through an item in the Warden's locker so new officers have to go to the Warden to receive training. This means if you don't start as sec and there's a shortage of officers, ...

Re: Chemistry, more like ChemFactory
Similarly to Toxins having an near-ready setup to be able to put out a lot of simple gases like hot plasma or tritium quickly (but isn't as flexible for producing exotic gases as Atmospherics access to the main gas supply is), this ChemFactory stuff should have a similar variety vs quantity tradeoff...

Re: Stickymayhem
Had a great event on Event Hall. I was HOS expecting a normal shift when the AI mentions a Centcomm official is talking to the Captain in their office. The cap then says to us on command comms that Centcomm will providing one irregular supply drop to each of our departments. I forget what everyone o...

New melee traitor item: Spetsnaz Manual
This could be introduced into the game in a different way than a traitor item (e.g. HoS knows it on spawn, or surgery or an implant could teach you it), the main point is to introduce a new melee combat style into the game. For obvious reasons this would be incompatible with other melee stuff like t...

Re: Self-surgery for amputation and augmentation
^ I like that idea. I mostly realised this issue after a very lowpop round where there were no MDs and the only other science guy was the RD who was busy doing his own autistic projects. It was several hours into the round and I wanted to get full body augs but there was no-one to do it, whereas wit...

Re: Self-surgery for amputation and augmentation
I'm talking about full-body augmentation. Miners consistently ask for it, and so do others. After all the other augs, borging and bots people ask roboticists to do it would be great to have at least one of those items crossed off the list. It's by far the most stressful job in Science.

Self-surgery for amputation and augmentation
You should be able to replace your own limbs with prosthetics without requiring a doctor. Maybe not head or torso but definitely limbs. If you've lost an arm for example it should still require all the 'augmentation' steps rather than just pushing in a prosthetic though, because you can imply there'...
