Re: [POLL] Has Mining update been successful?

One good thing about the new update: the mining points system is awesome. Particularly with the sonic jackhammer in there; it solved the problem mining had before of going from slow-as-fuck (pickaxe) to ungodly amazing speed (diamond drill) with nothing in between.

Re: [POLL] Has Mining update been successful?

There's been a second mining update that appears to have gone under the radar. Ore deposits appear to be roughly as frequent (they're not measurably more frequent, in other words), but the amount of ore per deposit has gone down from 5 to 3 each. Which is fucking bullshit. That said, it's not that t...

Re: Idea: Food/Kitchen and Bar Expansion

I actually had an idea about this, not too complicated, of letting anyone pour chems into a hacked-open vending machine to lace the food inside. But then I got bogged down in a system for the machine fabricating food on command out of nutriment and other reagents, and didn't act on it. It might be ...

Most of this isn't additional policy, it's just putting into writing policies that we already have and enforce. I don't see the problem with that.

I'll take a more detailed look later.

At least a few roundstart assistants each round will usually be due to the bug. (For those who don't know: if you Declare Ready at the last second, you make it into the round but after role assignment apparently, and you'll spawn as assistant.)

The nerf to the ID console (only one open/closed slot every 5 minutes, regardless of where you do it) didn't help matters. Compromise: if you're an antag and you ERP consistently, you become valid to admins. (Key word is "consistently": I can see, like, an antag ERPing their target and then using that as a way to get them into a secluded place for murder. Lings do it.)

What if the agent only got the department (Service, Cargo, Medical, etc.) their partner was in, not their names?
