We technically have a mechanism for relieving mentally unfit crew (this is currently the CMO’s job) but I literally never seen anyone do it. Probably because medbay lacks tools for effective nonlethal detainment.

Re: Note on power and engines
Okay, some quick notes from my work on containment: Field generators grant turfs underneath infinite heat resistance. These probably need some cleanup for corner cases. A turf only runs melt checks if it has an active hotspot. This means walls can never melt. Pipes are not designed to melt. This wou...

Re: Manuel Desperately Needs a Raised Pop Cap
<really great post> These numbers sound good, but what's really sticking out to me is the extreme pop cap. We should definitely be making use of that currently. A couple people I've talked to said they had problems doing gimmicks involving ghost roles, even late into rounds, because there's just no...

Syndicate law 4 is a fluff law for which i’ve never seen anyone disciplined (though plasma flooding would still be a law 1 violation unless all syndies are confirmed off station.) also even with this sudden strict application of law 4, you’ve still allowed the borgs to murder people in “self-defense...

He does not want the ooc scrutiny that comes with head roles, so he throws his head gear at the first person he sees and fucks off.

Not to come across as peanuts, but it seems like borging is basically being invalidated as a form of punishment since antags seem to just ignore it and keep playing their objectives.

An impressively tone deaf thread wherein poor murderhobos demand more restrictions on the head roles they constantly shit on.

This was a really dangerous move. The captain basically created ai that was compelled to kill him and then itself, and collateral was highly likely. This could have been better handled with a harmful nonhuman law under asimov.
