It's a little ridiculous that we have rulings from close to ten years ago buried in the depths of the forums where no mortal eyes have seen them since their posting. Players cannot be reasonably expected to follow these, and no admin wants to dive into the forums to find where an ancient ruling is on the off chance that it comes up in a ticket. If these rulings are here and unenforced, then why do we bother having them ? If these rulings are here and enforced, it's totally unfair to players (and admins)....

Cheshify has now been in the .txt as a Trial Admin for roughly two months.

Please use this thread as public review; it's encouraged for players to comment on how well/badly the trial admin has done and whether or not they think the trial admin should be made a full admin, if they should be removed from the .txt or if their promotion should be delayed.

Ever since the recent changes to the dynamic gamemode, lowpop is a complete shitshow. Often, a third of the crew is a traitor or becomes one during the round.

This is hurting science and service players who just want to enjoy the game. Every round, service/science players:

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on how the /tg/ wiki handles the archival of obsolete information .

Currently, full pages are usually untouched except for a small banner at the top stating its removal and that the page is archived (example: Nanites ).
Outdated sections in parts of larger pages, like Machines#Cloning_Pod , are compressed and tucked away into an expandable box.
In rarer cases, areas in which archived pages or sections are referenced are merely crossed out (example: Guides ).

Main complaints about genetics.

Whenever I try to connect to a /tg/Station server it gives me the following error message You are either AFK, experiencing lag or the connection has closed.
It connects for like a second then immediately freezes up. I've tried multiple versions of Byond, and none of them have worked. I also tried installing Internet Explorer to no avail.

its been in the game for a bit just to try it out, and i think its been here long enough. having to go ask the hop for maints access whenever theres a cult or something is just pointless tedium. it does not enhance or improve my enjoyment of the game.

I think it makes the game feel more dangerous and fun.

Right now if you’re somewhat robust you can walk around anywhere feeling relatively safe thanks to shoves alone. Seeing as a lot of folks also go through the minimal effort of getting some form of slip/bola, there’s usually a decent chance they can make it out of fights at least alive (if not victorious). The shuttle should automatically call after a certain time limit unless someone temporarily delays it at the comms console. Picrel is untenable, what is someone going when they arrive to a station with no power, no one to interact with, and all jobs either impossible to complete or already finished?

This is a really common issue that leads to accidental round removal but it isn't usually brought up.

PR has been denied several times over. Just keeping this here for the inevitable felinid lover maintainer (which allows me as a human geneticist to gain more powers!)

Felinid Claws: Does brute wound damage. Or does it more easily if fists can already do that

Downside: Like real life cats, when your claws get too long. You can't balance good! Felinids will trip over themselves while running.

Power: Buffs wound claw damage

Synchroniser: makes you only trip over yourself while running half the time...

I very much understand this is to allow people to understand what type a damage a chemical should heal at a glace, but it really doesn't make much since in practice. Inexperienced doctors are going to be taking chems out of kits, which are already handily labeled what type of damage their medicine...

I think it'd be epic if instead..there was a pill on that desk. A green pill. If you choose to ingest it, you gain an action button called Slow-Time You enter a bullet-time state that gives you bullet dodging abilites akin to a nightmare.

The catch is that your walk speed is super slowed, and you gain sloth movement trails. The pill didnt actually slow down time at all, you just react...
