I've almost always had people try to lynch me after I get abducted, I would barf out non-hostile slimes (that may eventually become hostile if not fed or frozen after a few minutes) and I went straight to escape to evacuate, after barfing out one slime I had two guys attack and kill me on the spot....

Is it really that hard to notice a red APC and say something about it? It takes a long ass time for APCs to discharge. People only care about the state of an icon when it can be explicitly interpreted as relating to the game mode or an antagonist. BSOD-Blue APC? MALF AI! Red APC? Didn't even see it...

It's probably just me but I find the visual "clutter" on MetaStation a bit much. The copious amount of hazard markings in every corner of the map and posters on the walls being culprits. There's nothing explicitly bad about it - it just makes the cognitive aspect of the game more taxing.

I'm keen to see stuns reduced to the disabler effect but also causing your target to drop their weapon.

It would add value to taking the initiative (first hit) in combat, while also giving the losing party the chance to GTFO, with the risk of the second disabler hit slowing them.

Self-surgery is surprisingly more realistic than many other facets of Space Station 13. From Plasma, Bluespace, Lasers (The one's we present), Space Exposure, Damage Effects (What is a bullet to the head?), Wizards, GBS, Space Ship Drives, Research & Development, Most Of Our Medical System, etc...

I feel that there ought to be some check that when a player takes damage and enters crit, that they can't go immediately to dead. Maybe cap the damage upon entering crit or something. ex_act() and other logical cases excluded, of course. Acid does not instantly kill people.

I agree that the problem isn't for a lack of desire for RP, but instead a newer set of players who are just in it to win it. I think that if we bought back gameplay mechanics that said "no, your fate is in the hands of others and there is no safe path to winning" then perhaps the attitudes...

Haven't been able to play since the server moved to florida. It all runs like arse and I can't really expect anyone to do anything about it for me, much less give a shit. None of the other servers seem very appealing, sadly.
