That... would actually be a fair compromise. I'm fine with that. How about I remove the lexorin entirely and just up the price to like 200 or something, a typical quick yield is like 1k points, and 10u of hyperzine isn't really as bad as the 30u pills + coffee used to be.

I don't see how making an item less useful and actively harmful to miners made their lives easier. If anything, it just makes me less likely to play a non-silicon miner, knowing that I'm going to take damage for a very brief speed boost. I'd rather move around faster for a longer period of time than...

It's actually very easy to make stun revolvers if you know what to deconstruct. With the HoS' help, you could probably mass-produce them about 5 minutes into the round.

Still, limiting the reagents to a very small number (or, you know, just setting them on fire without any of this reagent bullshit) would probably be the best way to handle this. Otherwise it doesn't seem like it would matter how many stacks you had as long as that reagent was in your system. And app...

Speedballing all of the pills so late-game mining could become bearable was the entire fucking point of the pills. Mining was actually fun when you didn't have to spend ten fucking minutes getting from the station to the dig site after delivering your first batch of minerals.

How long SHOULD it last, though? Even a couple of seconds is enough to drop someone to half health, and that's not even counting the damage from the melee attacks.
The blobs shouldn't even set people on fire. Having a big moving wall that deals a shitload of damage is enough.

Right, so the blob can spawn blobbernauts by sacrificing factory nodes. Sure, it might seem like a good trade-off. A continuous stream of minions for one very powerful minion. Yep. You'd need two people to carry the chunks over to the satellite, and you can't throw anything to change directions is space since gibtonite takes up both slots. If you don't take out the two turrets you're going to need even more to avoid getting chainstunned.

The problem with stealthy antags without robust weapons is that they're incredibly boring for everyone except maybe the antag. If they do their job, nothing changes within the round. If they fail, they're left defenseless against security, get gibbed, and change nothing within the round.

Asimov is shit, but it's the only lawset that has the AI be a completely neutral force. As far as I know, nobody's made a good alternative that didn't tilt the AI in favor of the crew/station.
And you'd be an idiot to not expect the same number of specific policies if the default lawset was changed.

You can keep the bot from moving by using a mining scanner on it, which sets it to attack mode, and hitting it with a satchel dumps everything in its inventory. It's more useful as a mining crate that can shoot stuff.
But yeah, mining isn't really a problem after the buffs to mineral spawn rates.
