Re: SpaceInaba

Bans shouldn't be waited out if someone feels they were wrongly banned and want to resolve it quickly. You've been trying to resolve it quickly for six months now :honkman: That's fine. Getting someone like Danno, DGL, and other admins that've applied bans was nearly impossible and their ban remova...

Re: SpaceInaba

There is no obligation for admins to participate in the official discord in any capacity. If you need to reach Inaba and they are not in IRC, I would suggest contacting myself or a head ...

Re: Streaming and metagaming

This is a rare event and I think there are times where the rules should be broken. I don't think this kind of event requires a heavy handed ruling simply because of principals. You can fight on principals for around 200 dollars to a children charity and argue over broken principals. Sometimes the ru...

J_Madison's capitalistic collective beneficiary system

This is a draft for a system to benefit players that play the game the way it's meant to be played. If you play heads of staff jobs, you get more points. If you play department jobs and do your job, you get more points. If you get antag and do your job, you get even more points. Points can be spent ...

Re: Is it time for an assistant cap again?

I admit those were some really far out there ideas, but as a matter of joke and potential for fun rounds I think people will play 40+ rounds (averaging 5 pts every round best conditions) just to meme force it.

Re: Is it time for an assistant cap again?

The goal is to keep the GBP (gross bonus points, aka average points per player) to around the 20-35 point average by incentivising spending and sinking points and time, whilst offering incestives for point whales to spend theirs.

Re: Killing borgs for following laws

I think the issue I've had was overload in situations. Dealing with one revolutionary head arrested in the brig isn't difficult, but when you've got two of them cornered in the medbay with revs quickly flooding in to prevent their death, you don't have time to react. And that's when abuse happens, t...

Re: Hippocratic ban

Reasonable, but a lot of players that could have reformed have moved on elsewhere.
When they do return, if they do, they might not necessarily be any better.

Thread has run it's course, the players and admins have different views on reform and punishment.

Hippocratic ban

An alternative to banning harsh players.

Medical doctor only.
Cannot harm or be harmful.
Cannot job change.
Must hep everyone.
Antag banned.

Because why ban and exclude players simply because they valid?
Why not just make them unable to hunt?
