I think the message that appears depends on the size of the item. Larger items will be shown to everyone and smaller things only if you are right next to someone while putting it in your backpack.

I'd like the option to pick another character or generate a random one if you get an antag role. For people who want to play peaceful characters but don't want to miss out on antag roles and don't want to break character either.

You can screwdriver air alarm panels open. There is a random wire that, when pulsed, will set all vents and scrubbers to panic syphon mode. I don't like the idea of spawning in public areas because it means that if you are AFK at roundstart, assistants are going to try and loot your ID.

How about coding a special version that doesn't cause suffucation/coughing?
I think what annoys most people is the coughing effect that causes you to drop things and the chaplains that use it next to officers arresting someone.

You can only leave cryo if you are at full health. You will regain conciousness after a bit and are able to resist out of it. There's a few problems with this though. Mulebots need the ability to home in on humans they see or something. That alone would make them much better. It wouldn't even be that unfair, considering you can attack and destroy mules like mobs.

Engineers should start with doorwires and apc wires already known in their notes/memory. It's a bit odd that they need to research the wires before being able to fix an emagged door. Here's an idea: Give both agents the same uplink unlock code and let the unlocked PDA work as a pinpointer to your own documents. That gives even more incentive to betray the other agent, allows you to hide your documents somewhere on the station to be safe from random searches or find the documents...

The sleepers in medbay will show any reagent in the patients body, not just the chemicals you can inject them with. A surprising amount of people don't know this. I doubt it's still possible to save Basil now, aside from merging it. Many Basil regulars seem to like the new codebase and splitting Artyom's userbase into half just to get Basil going again seems like a bad idea for both servers. I don't really have any codebase preference so I might be a bit bias...

The usefulness of this probably depends on the map. You should consider adding an option to set different cost values for different maps in case we ever get that map switching thing implemented.

The new wiring system is a lot easier in my opinion and it also means that repaired cables no longer look like a mess like they did before. Just take a while to learn it in the construction area or something. I'm against reverting to the old one.
