Re: ban request: alfred keplin/lum

You were being incompetent and not doing your job, the poor botanist had no ID for half the shift because you wouldn't do your job. You also were trying to upload random fucking laws for no reason. I could have been much harsher on you then I was, I had the go ahead to demote you but I didn't, you h...

Re: Dominator [Unique Sec Gun]

I think it's far too strong for regular sec work, compared to how easy it is to produce. Being effectively immune to friendly fire means you can just spam it to take people down, and after adding an Unknown to the sec records, has no real drawback. the requirements to operate the gun is neat (always...

Re: Nerf Blood boil

Thing to remember is that bloodboil is the only offensive ranged cult ability other then emp talismans (that are relatively short ranged, and leave batons still with charge).

Re: Money! Currency! KA-CHING

you could literally go mining, redeem the minerals for money, hire mercs and take all their fucking OP gear and proceed to RAEP. Seriously the "Bulletproof vest, c20r, 5 c20r cartridges, 1 c4, 1 minibomb" is supremely robust if you decide to murder bone, who cares about the actual merc, th...

Re: Replacing the single dorms

especially if I need to go brain dead for a little bit ( happens annoyingly often) but am a greyshirt with valuable stuff (aka: traitor gear/multibelt) I lock myself into a dorm so I don't get looted/murdered.

People belonging to actual departments usually don't need to do so however.

Re: One Man Army event - A spin off of ninja

The concept sounds alright, although there will be inevitable idiots who get caught with open pda's and give sec/some random a potentionally hilarious amount of TC's.

Just the other day, 60 or so people died after drinking some homebrew shit in africa, apparantly they used methanol or something. Loads more went blind/got generally fucked.

Methanol laced homebrew when?

Re: Readd test firing teleporter or remove malfunctions

Yesterday we had a malf round, three of us sec guys took the teleporter to the AI sat since some cunt had stolen the handtele for whatever reason. One of us got turned into a fly and I threw him back through the teleporter to station in hopes of someone healing him, and m and the other dude both got...

Would this mean money trees would have actual value now? Also service borgs can literally shit out money right now so, might need to change that.

Sounds like a good idea, but I think that syndie borgs/mechs (mainly borgs) need a price adjustment and/or a limit on how many you can buy.

Re: [PR] Syndicate Operative Changes

there's no reason for nuke ops to have them by default anymore besides shitty cheap ass backup weapons they get for free in case they run out of ammo. But that's like, the reason they have them? And if everyone has agreed that c-20r's are better then e-guns, and are also better lorewise as default ...

They look really fucking nice, but they're pretty different from the look of current weapons. Especially that first gun, hot damn it looks sexy.

Re: Nerf Blood boil

While I do agree that it is retardly strong, I would also like to point out I have seen it used ONCE not on the escape shuttle. The escape shuttle is literally the perfect scenario for it, where everyone is grouped in one screen (more or less) and cultists can sit next to each other without drawing ...

Re: Make Head of Personnel Antagproof

I'm fine with antag HoP. It is very strong, but he's still just a head, not captain.

As warden I will tase and brig if neccessary, any HoP that thinks they can just come into the brig/armory and take shit, and try get the HoS and cap to demote his ass for abusing his position.

Re: [POLL]Increase Head of Security's Access

Playing as HoS I have never felt my access was not enough. Of course all access would be great, but you have general access to most of the station, just not specific rooms, and you can usually laser your way in if nothing else.
Also the HoS already has access to cargobay?

Re: The Eternal 'Port Baymed' Thread

Personally I would want a system where (severe) wounds could cause certain effects such as bleeding (bullets/blades etc), break bones (bludgeoning someone to near crit with a tool box etc) and severe burns (laser cannons, multiple lasers to the same body part, fires etc). You can 'field treat' them,...

Well there's not much paranoia laden in this game if you can shrug off bullets to the head or an axe the chest with one click of a bruise pack and be on your way.

I know that C-20r's have a shorter stun druation, and I know that ops used to have C-20r's as default weapons. The shorter stuns don't matter becuase you keep shooting t...

Re: The Eternal 'Port Baymed' Thread

We don't have a medical system, we have a one-click-fix-it system. If we can have baymed where bones only break/other serious problems only occur after severe damage (getting smashed into crit by an e-sword is going to do some damage) then why the hell not? Any random murderboner can slaughter 20 pe...

Re: [PR] Syndicate Operative Changes

Don't put C-20r's as free weapons for ops. That's far to strong if TC amounts dont change from what they are currently, which I wouldnt want to happen since customisation > preset equipment. And when was the SAW nerfed, or is that part of your proposed change, since the whole gimmick of the SAW was ...

Re: [PR] Syndicate Operative Changes

Like I said in the first thread, I think they're too expensive, when compared to the c-20r and SAW. C-20r is 8 points, does 20 brute and knocks down. It's ammo is 1tc and 20 rounds per reload. SAW is 20(I think?) tc, does 60 brute(more than double that of the AK), and I can't remember how much it's ...
