Re: Remove the Gulag
Right now there are no mining scanners at the gulag, not sure that the intention is to troll prisoners or something else. I tested it a bit, the only thing I could reliably mine was metal (since I couldnt see anything else), it took me around 15 minutes to get 500 points, I had around 200+ at the 5 ...

I dont think it should be in random events. Also the visor shouldnt have scouter (aghost should have it instead).

Re: [Leibniz] Kade Shaffer - No warning 60 minute ban
I did not want to appeal this ban, since I did not think it was undeserved, and since it's just a 60m ban. What I did do and write quite clearly was complain about when he did it, as I was in the middle of ahelping about something unrelated to said ban and was disconnected writing mid sentence. The...

I would like to see revival buffed too. - Chems should regen while you are dead - There should be no prerequisite (atm I think it's one absorbed genome) I think one of the nice things about changelings (or used to be) is that they just keep coming back, also having to save up 20 chems before death m...

I was under the impression that ionic and hacked laws could only be removed by purging the AI and then immediately re-applying the Asimov (or Paladin, or whatever) board. Has this been changed? I know this is what I was told when I was starting out. "Core" laws need to be removed with pur...

Yeah, there are only 9000 flashes in robotics at roundstart, that is totally not enough for an average round.Kraso wrote:who knows, maybe they use them for an extra borg headleibniz wrote:Roboticists that take the flashes from tech storage.
And with 1 minute of RnD effort, you can print more synthetic flashes.

The middle machine at the nuke shuttle teleporter needs to be screwdriver-wirecutter-screwdriver'd to work, if this is not a bug, there should be a paper next to it explaining it.

I would argue that the standard pipe layout has a solid IC reason (It's modular and can put any gas in any section) and an OOC reason (Allowing low-modification flooding of any gas). Manual valves before you have a reason to suspect AI hostility is meta. I agree with this. My approach to meta is no...

Anyone else playing this?
I bought this recently. Expected it to be hard, but it still surprised me, there is lots of stuff going on.
Destruction seems easier than conquest.
Didnt play too much though, I've been busy.
Is there a way to git gud? I cant really find lobbies for beginners.

I believe some time ago (maybe more than a year? I really have no clue) emitters were changed from APC power to wire power or whatever. Which is why you have to fuck around with placing generators and such when you have to fight the blob with emitters. I dont really know why it is this way, the emi...

I think dumpdavidson made an "internal hivemind" thing (it was a pull request with finished code), it sounded wonderful but wasnt implemented for some reason.
It could be the thing that makes newling worth playing, or almost worth playing.
