It doesn't matter - it's all dumb ai monsters guarding loot, no matter what you do to up the difficulty someone's going to figure out a way to trivialize it, and then awful mc greyshirt is going to use that to get their own armory 15 minutes into the round. I'd say remove these awful ruins altogether

I like the idea - there should be a difference between the "newbie trying to learn the game" role and the "awful player who doesn't want to contribute to the round" role.
And the later shouldn't have maint access, but thats a whole other issue.

On a serious note this is not a FPS, we do not need to balance spawn locations so everyone has the same shot at getting the gloves.

Although if we do this and then ban people who instigate fights over the insuls that would deal with a good chunk of the worst elements.

If this change goes through it will hurt at first as it does with all changes but it will lead to chemistry self policing itself into attracting players interested in making mixes for medbay. You shouldn't prevent nor deny changes just because there's only death mixers working on the department now...
