Re: [TheDragmeme] Yulice - Powergaming

I want to start this by apologizing. This is not the quality of work I strive for in my adminship, nor is it the quality I have shown. I went into the ticket abrasively, which I also apologize for. There were two factors that launched my investigation in the first place. I have annexed in-game names...

Re: Raise the standards of the LRP servers to that of the MRP servers

Before we raise the standard for any of the servers there needs to be a slight re write and clarification for the MRP ruleset itself. To me, personally, it's messy and sometimes the line on where to use MRP rules vs Official server rules starts to blur.

Re: [MRP] Remove Wizard from the config

Manuel has separate RP specific rules for a reason, if you feel like either side needs a bap you need to ahelp it. I know for myself I'll check antags and then fuck around a bit in the thunderdome, so I kinda tune dead chat out a little, the notification noise does in fact draw my attention. As for ...

Re: update the rules to clarify that saying the n word with the n swapped for an l makes you valid as per MSO's ruling

I don't see why we can't just add the word to the filter. The constant arguments generally agree that "Ligger" is just the N word with a single letter swapped around. It isn't a good "speciest" insult and it dosent feel creative. It just feels like bigatory that's being used to g...

I personally think the word should be added to the hard filter, because it's honestly not clear if that falls under rule 1 or 11. Or even under both

Modsuit Ai policy

Blessed be the modsuit. Anyways modsuit ais are a little fickle in my eyes. Specifically Asimov lawed modsuit ais. What I want to discuss: What should modsuit ais do if their user is rev flashed or cult converted, both in the case with Asimov and without. What does the asimov modsuit ai do if their ...

[MRP] Shaky unconfirmed policy things for families

Manuel players argue up and down against families for a verity of reasons and nothing ever seems to get done. I have some things that I feel are constantly contested or spark arguments I'd like the headmins to weigh in on. Players hunting down command or security for performing lawful damage control...

Re: Families: Hold another vote

Okay, I can see this is going in circles. Manuel statics, we have all said why we don't like families. I'm gonna ask some things that I'd like the headmins to vote on and we can maybe go from there. I want their definitive yes or no answer. I don't want "well it already says here-". I want...

Re: Families: Hold another vote

Edit: I would also like to note instead of listening to the MRP admin's perspective and grievances the maintainers are just saying "ahelp it". Thanks very cool. The policy isnt even clear if they have antag protections or not. Clearly we need the headmins to decide some things. First off,...

Re: Families: Hold another vote

this is bannable under antag rolling policy, roundstart suicide when you dont get antag is a rules violation I'm not sure this maps on--it sounds more similar to how we allow suicide when you get the war ops declaration. Yes this is what I'm referring to. A noticable portion of non antags suicide w...

Re: Families: Hold another vote

The general consensus on Manuel is that families is NOT fun and causes a lot of issues and burnout that makes players feel like they need to take a break. Either admins need to be given more quality control ability and code changes need to be made or the mode needs to go away.

I feel like space law should be treated as policy, as it dictates how security behaves towards antagonists. At least most on MRP actually use space law in their interactions

Re: [MRP] (but also possibly LRP as well) Maxcapping as a revolutionary

I agree for both MRP and LRP. Stealth rev max capping at the end of the round is dumb lame and only causes salt when it happens. It's not interactive and there's virtually no counter if nobody reports flashing. On the MRP side, I just feel awful because I want to feel the tension of a fed-up crew wa...

Re: [MRP] Having hulk/fireball for no reason should be considered powergame

I feel like this post is missing the context of your "gimmick". You blue space launchpaded unsuspecting victims then murdered them. No real escalation was present other than that on your part. The geneticist didn't use the hulk mutator until AFTER you kidnapped them.
