I too had my instruments spaced by sec officers in the past, they always get away with it.

If you want privileges to team deathmatch antags, you can't do regular crew stuff like fighting someone for/because of an instrument. If the crew cannot reasonably fight back, you get these threads.

Security is given too much leeway from the administration. Officers don't have antag status because nobody coded that in yet, but they might as well have it.

Give up on playing cyborg and play augmented humans.

You get total damage immunity as a fully augmented human. And then you have the cybernetic implants.

Cyborgs are not many steps away from being removed from the game anyways.

Cyborgs are supposed to be very efficient at their designated role, while being restricted by laws. The security cyborg had no inherent problems, it was a combat oriented cyborg memed into legend as being an unstunnable death machine but convieniently leaving out all the easy anti cyborg tools.
