I didn't see Viro releasing diseases, but someone did indeed release them. There was also a fight in virology where viro got killed.

6th z-level is used for being empty.

You have a very high chance to getting there if you jump into space. It increases amount of time it takes to get to objects in space. Without it you'd end up somewhere almost instantly.

Resonant Shriek is not a problem here, there is nothing with similar effects (deaf and confuse humans, flash cyborgs, blow out lights).

Dissonant Shriek is literally an EMP.

Hmm. One one side, it creates an interesting, organized system, provided everyone is being responsible. On the other side, it's less chucklefuck-proof than current system due to being more complex.
