Frozlunky is really damn good. We had like 200 ping, but it was running flawless. And this is not even an official multiplayer, just a mod. And spelunky is pretty fun(especially when you are a ghost and throw enemies at your friends).

Play engineering or a job that has access to engineering channel(atmos/captain/AI) and there you go, all your problems with this are solved.
