Re: Your ideas for better chem names
We're not going back to trek names because we already have trek chems in the game again. Please don't do this. The whole point of the names was so that everyone speaks the same language when it comes to chemistry cross server. Nothing beneficial is gained from Yet another name change, and it just f...

Charcoal takes 10 seconds to make. Welding fuel+carbon+hydrogen, then water+sodium+chlorine, put it on a heater turned up to the max and bam. Pentetic acid is hard but it's also very good and normally you make it only when you've made everything else. Chemistry requires fast fingers and good timing...

There are 2 kinds of laws an AI can have - one that says it must/must not do something, and one that defines what something is. The standard three laws of asimov all define what the AI must/must not do - these laws can only clash with other laws that define what they must or must not do. Definition ...

Had an event about a day ago now to get 15 canisters from cargo filled with N2O then shipped back to centcomm in the ship. There were no cargo workers as far as I could see and no atmos techs or engineers (until one showed up about half-way through the process). It got N2O released as me, a bartende...

Doris when was the last time you even played chef hello? Dough/Cake batter are made by mixing shit in a beaker.
On topic: I've started to see lizard sprites that look a lot more sensible - I think people just need some time for the appeal of making their sprite as big as possible to wear off.

Live in australia, can confirm it's pretty shitty. Change replica pods in botany to function like golem runes, remove them from the vendor, and hide them behind another layer of mutation from cabbages.

Ok so don't include C20rs, give them a nerfed version that's more balanced like what imblyings literally just said. They already get free equipment in the form of the bulldog, this would just let them choose which piece of free equipment they want - we can balance that.

If you mean as a chemical reaction instead of a slime reaction, then it can be abused in various ways which can be pretty meh, considering you can space people with it. Empty a bottle of left-4-zed into a tray you aren't using and fill it with mutagen - you can set its transfer amount to 1, 2, and 5 which is all you need it for. you what you what mate A WHOLE NEW WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD It's also great because it holds 5...

Never use any fertilizer that isn't robust harvest - if you want to change your stats, use mutagen. Every time you apply mutagen it takes effect - use 5 units if you want to change species, use 2 if your stats are really far off what you want, and use 1 unit if you're almost at the stats you want. It's only 2 bars of plasma in chemistry on box at least - point being that's hardly going to be healing however many plasma men are on the station for long, especially considering Chemistry actually uses that stuff in useful recipes and viros want it for their viruses.

There's basically nothing to draw a botanist out of botany after the round start anyway - you can get like 12 bottles of mutagen from friendly chemists pretty easily, and that can last you a whole round if you're not trying to perfect every plant - and odds are if you are trying to perfect every pla...

The stable plasma in the chemistry vendor isn't the same thing as actual plasma. Liquid plasma is much rarer and generally you only get it after mining comes back with a shipment if they bother giving chemistry any.

Drinking from the bartender's shaker should always consume 5u just like drinking from a glass does - it makes it way easier to mix the more complicated drinks. Most obvious example is long island ice tea where the best way to mix it is mix 30u of cuba libre then pour some into a glass, take a sip, a...
