Re: Allow counterplay to Viruses
Viruses as they stand are incredibly boring, because the only solution that guarantees you won't get infected(which is necessary at times, because some viruses are outstandingly lethal or obnoxious) is "wear a full biosuit and internals and stand in an empty, secluded room alone and away from ...

Re: Public hulk mutation consoles and similar grief distribution methods.
Nah. That's kinda stupid. IC consequences exist, you know? Permabrig the shitter who makes public hulk consoles, ask AI to clear it from all consoles.
So basically, skill issue etc.

Re: Of Phazons and AI Shells Peanut
As s*licon player, I used to do that shit too.
You usually expect your robo to do his job, so when I didn't get cyborg shells built one hour in I would jump straight to aggression, even if I never asked robo to do anything, so I can relate.

Yeah, having a secondary ai always sucks. But since modsuit AIs exist it doesn't happen nearly as often.

Re: Bring back the old rule 3
I do find the current tdm nature of lrp enjoyable, but this seems like it might be fun if enforced properly, so yeah sure. I would love to see roleplay in chaos again. As most roleplayers moved to Manuel, Terry was left with just the people who play to win. I'm not sure if this newly formed communit...

Re: Undo the post-Revs experiment
Had a fun time as post-rev secoff once, when I had to defend hos' body and then sneak around the station with a shitty disguise trying to get defib for the body.
Still, I don't think it's fun for the majority of players in the post-rev round so autoshuttle would be good.

I'm not sure why people get upset at getting their shoes tied. It's pretty funny when it happens to me.

Re: [Vekter] Striders13 - Prank that went too far
I don't think pAI's even have restrictions as far as playstyle goes. If im roleplaying as a "glitchy" pAi for example, constantly saying incomprehensible shit does it mean im playing it WRONG and i can ONLY be your default companion personality? All my effects were stated in the descriptio...

Re: [Vekter] Striders13 - Prank that went too far
It's meta because you explicitly named yourself in a way that would make players think it was an actual callout from the SM. Imagine a worker at a nuclear plant doing that, causing the plant manager to SCRAM the reactor and blackout the grid. You'd be out a job damn quick. And no, they couldn't sav...

Re: [Vekter] Striders13 - Prank that went too far
I don't see how this is 'meta' at all. It's a pAI designed to prank, it did the prank. Basically, it's a tool for clown and the like to use. My intent was to scare crew, see their screams on radio, have ai call me out and wipe myself off. None of my fault the ai was clueless to that. And a side ques...

[Vekter] Striders13 - Prank that went too far
BYOND account: Striders13 Character name: The supermatter crystal Ban type: Server Ban length: 1 day Ban reason: Named himself 'the supermatter crystal' as a pAI and pasted the announcement that the engine was delamming at 12 percent. This made the crew panic and -actually- cause a delam. Also this...

What else then I should have done in that scenario? I couldn't ignore the fact that he killed the botanist because that would break law 1

[Unit2E] Striders13 - warning from borg laws
Post Content: I got a warning from misunderstanding(?) Asimov borg laws "Warning - As borg, ignored law 2 demands to stop flashing and stunning a human (which also violates law 1) despite them not in the moment being actually harmful. Please refrain from harm at all times, and don't be unreason...
