I did not expect a half life game to be such a consistent challenge, playing on hard despite counting my shots and looting everything I'm always moments away from running out of ammo. I don't agree that diluting the event pool is how you fix this, events like mass position/mind swap and race change are one diceroll away from permanently ruining your round and why would you do anything other than validhunt the wizard or greytide knowing at any point you're going to potentially die...

They're not particularly well suited as a quirk if you're doing it for flavor, I'd love if they were reworked a bit though
They're entirely RNG dependent so you end up with silly situations like being slightly jittery for seeing a snake but screaming in terror if someone says boop over the radio

Other than some of the inflections being distracting like already mentioned I don't mind these at all, the range and volume is low enough to not be an annoyance. I think something you could consider making a preference is whether or not you get to hear your own character's chatter, if it's possible....

So far all of the rage cages I've seen on manuel have been done by 1-2 people that expect people to flock to it and wordlessly kill each other on a roleplay server, unsurprisingly they stay unused and just end up blocking normal passage. Just use the boxing ring if anyone cares to actually fight.
