Re: Knowledge of Someone's Tactics - Where Does It Become Meta?
I hate statics we should be forced to randomize every shift. What if I told you that this doesn't solve anything at all, and that there was a period of people using the randomized name/body feature to try and make it less obvious that it was them before they used their repeat gimmicks more reliably...

It's okay to use color contrasting; extremely limited color palettes only make sense if you pick good, contrasting colors and utilize them appropriately. That's kind of the point of the exercise.

I was going to say 'why would kieth, who seemed like a very level-headed and hands-off headmin, suddenly go turbo nuclear on the administration just because of this nonsense' but actually, we have had former headmins (not during their term, mind) go full nuclear breakdown before. Open areas can exist, like on icebox. That's usually how you get hit and run to death by xenos. Long hallways can also be a problem. The best place to fight is always in the tunnels. Also, sometimes RNG just screws you regardless. It's not like mechs aren't prone to dying to some relatively bad luck.

You're thinking of Birdboat, which is a completely different map to Birdshot. Birdshot is merely inspired by Birdboat. Okay but to be fair, Northstar is literally unplayable. Not "ooooh, I don't like the layout" like people talk about with Birdshot (Birdshot good, btw), it is literally unplayable in that it's performance is so trash that it makes icebox look like a high-performance map. Anyway, what rule ...
