Lurked on /tg/ for a few years. Somebody mentioned SS13 in a sci-fi horror thread. Looked up the tgstation wiki and was amazed at all the features of this crazy game. Many wasted hours spread over a few months and here I am.

You should add a section on formatting. There are too many paragraph-long walls of text in the library. Even a simple centred, bolded title at the top of a smalltext book goes a long way.

As long as we don't lose any recipes, I'd welcome an alternative to the crafting menu. It would be nice to have an incentive to not having all my ingredients in one huge game-crashing-upon-right-click pile.

Honestly, I prefer the mess hall to be relatively empty. It allows the chef and bartender to customize it to their liking. I usually end up just deconstructing furniture in maps with prebuilt diners like pubby and omega so I can make a setup that I actually like.

I don't get why the chef has CQC either. Isn't crushing a gatecrasher with the shutters, stabbing them once or twice, and then throwing them back in the hall enough? Unfortunately it's not always possible. If you're doing work in the side of the kitchen opposite to the front counter, you likely won...

As someone who plays both botany and chef quite often, I have this to say: I seldom ever see the chef messing with me as a botanist. I seldom ever see botanists messing with me as a chef. I don't see a reason for power exports to be a thing. It's not like power needs any more uses as-is. It's quite effective at what it does. My brief thoughts after playing several rounds as chef on Omega: 1. The kitchen is too far from botany, preventing adequate supply. This is the most important issue.
