Why would you ever SLI? It's never worth it. Hardly supported and often runs like shit. Just get a 1070ti or a 1080ti if you're that low in last gen.

Except I can't do that with my current 1080, I get around 80fps in most games on lowered settings on a 100hz 3440x1440 monitor. I'm switching over to a 165hz 1440p monitor soon which is just as demanding if not more.

My PC is my luxury expense so.
