Only Robodoctor, Asimov, Station Efficiency and Reporter are neutral enough to be roundstart. Robocop and Paladin should never be default, it's too crew-aligned and not enough antagonist-aligned.

That and Sal-Glu doesn't have this reduced effectiveness scaling with damage and has the added benefit of acting as pseudo-blood which helps with severe bleeds.

I feel slime object damage was a mistake due to their vent-crawling and straight-up immunity to 90% of the station's ranged weaponry at roundstart which makes fighting intelligent ones a huge pain in the ass, especially if they're actually smart enough to destroy watertanks I definitely feel slimes ...

I feel like the mainstay maps just keep adjusting whats already there and struggle to adapt to total redesigns in balance. Like how nanites were just shoved into some out if the way corner in most maps for a while.

Y'know, kill the AI and break the comms consoles over and over and kill anyone who tries to fix it

It's super easy to kill the AI. Hell, the turret lasers will heal you.
