I think that's a goose, not a swan. Swans are the next level up. Also, harming them is an offence against the Space Queen.

Also suggestion: The Spock helmet. You know the one. We already have the police lights helmet.

Food and drinks needs some updating; Banana Honk for one is impossible to make now. (since banana juice+sugar fills the container with Laughter. Not sure what that's supposed to do) Also the Moonshine recipe is out of date. (one of those, the one with ethanol and welder fuel) Also, a ton of syndicat...

With a good mix the janitor's spraypack is a flamethrower that's better than the actual flamethrower. If you light somebody with a mix carrying colorful reagent, the flames will be colorful too, and spread the same color on contact! I mean, a flamethrower in real life is literally just a hose that ...

Re: making stunprods for no reason

Changing stun prods to not fit in bags isn't going to fix it, it's just going to make people carry disassembled prods. Flashes or a new ghetto taser that only gets one stun before falling apart and needs to be reassembled with a recharged powercell might be better. Ghetto taser seems like it should...

On the other hand, humans licking people has an extremely high chance to spread disease.

Even moreso with bite attacks. Also, the ability to bite people. Make the muzzle useful.

When watching through a security camera as it is destroyed or disconnected, the camera console explodes.

I'm sure overall Star Trek style exploding consoles has been posted somewhere already.

Clearly we also need minor damage for when people slip and fall on top of you. More damage for fat people, and if you're wearing spiky outfits then there may be backlash damage.

Some of those seem a bit much, especially given traitors can have an objective to die. Downgrade perma lube to splashing space lube and it might well be funny enough.

Suicide stimpack effect with guaranteed death at the end? ...actually that might make for a fun traitor item in itself.

Additional Suicide Methods

Having had a minor quest to find as many ways to commit suicide as possible, I've been disappointed a few times by items that lack their own unique suicide message. So I have some suggestions for more. (apologies if any of these are already covered) Chainsaw: Chopping your own head off. (there's pre...

Well, what are you balancing sec against? Traitors, greytiders, nuke ops, monsters? What tools and weapons are good against one and not the other?

Probably would help to make more clear what different stuff is for, too. I've never gotten around to using pepper spray yet.

As someone who makes a thing out of playing R&D all the time I love it when mining takes an interest and wish they'd do it most often. Mostly because half the point is that R&D can improve Mining's efficiency so damn much.

Is getting a mining Ripley even worth it?

Understandable counter-arguments. I figure it might be one of those things that balances itself out since more or less everyone has access to the same resources, but that just means more fighting over them. (Hence why I suggested increasing mining yields, or maybe decreasing resource costs to some e...

Department Protolathes

I was ranting about this in OOC one night a while ago, figure I ought to flesh it out somewhere persistent. Problem: Science gets a lot of reasonably useful toys from R&D, but rarely uses a lot of them. I can't remember if I ever saw Cryo Beakers/Syringes getting used, for example. (for legitima...
