Yet Another TGUI. This isn't even a joke, there's shit like YAML (Yet Another Markup Language) floating about. isnt this usually reserved for the third or fourth iteration This is the third iteration, the first was Nano and TGUI is the second. Did it need to be reworked? Absolutely. Wasn’t the perception that it found it’s way into most of the code essentially debunked in the github? Like it’s only represented in a minor portion of the code? It’s a fun game mode that needed to do some re-work and rebalancing but coders solution to actual...

I like the idea, but make sure not to create busywork. The science points should be a reward for doing something you're already doing and not be a reward in and of themselves. Everything that gives science points should be fun to do even if it didn't give any science points at all.

Restart votes are designed for when the server is fucked and you can't keep playing. They're thus explicitly OOC. Trying to make them IC is an extremely bad idea.

Could be a scaling penalty where the first time you die is like 30 seconds, second time is a minute, third time is 2 minutes, and each time after that is 5. Or whatever. There is nothing wrong with having obscure mechanics to newer players. Newer players shouldn't be going to botany to churn out 0-100 or 100-0 plants to begin with. They'd be going to botany to make plants. I don't think having mechanics that encourage veterans to teach newer players but also not ma...
