I guess the dud wires are so random greyshits don't grab a mutlitool and screwdriver and start pulsing shit until they can't anymore. Makes it take longer and make them more likely to hit the shock wire rather than a useful one.tgui random airlock wires

It literally does nothing to the probability of hitting the shock wire or a useful one and the fact that you think it does confuses me.

Dud wires achieve nothing.
Having 10 extra wires that do nothing just mean 10 extra clicks AT MOST, which is like, 3 seconds.
Someone shocking themself is purely "do they hit the shock wire before the power wire while going up/down the list".
Which means it's a 50% chance whetheer there are 2 wires or 100 (unless you click random wires, which is incredible dumb).
