Attack animations
Are very good. Probably one of the best ideas and mechanic that players have been needing feedback for for ages.
Thank you, phil!

Re: Attack animations
Barring the inhands themselves launching forward to hit people instead of the whole mob when attacking with weapons instead of punching (this might be a better idea, but it'd look ugly) this is the only way to go about it

Use a pen on someone and it looks and sounds like you're ERPing with them.

Re: Attack animations
If someone wants to sprite attack animations for everything in the game, they'll get implemented posthaste.
I code for the code project and moderate the code sections of the forums.

It looks like you're trying to hump everything you attack. 10/10 addition.

Re: Attack animations
The alternative is making literally tens of thousands of sprites for attack animations. No. Screw that.

Re: Attack animations
Well, as much as I still want to see the AI get action logs in chat, this is at least a step forward. The AI can at least tell that something aggressive has taken place instead of people just laying down next to other people and guessing what happened.

Re: Attack animations
It's a great change, a bit weird at first but it makes it infinently easier to identify who's doing what instead of looking at the attack logs and scanning everyone to see who's name matches the attack logs.

Re: Attack animations
It's much needed. SS13 has had some serious user feedback issues in the past but things like this change and speech bubbles have helped a lot.

Re: Attack animations
Really like these, good work! As most people have said already really helps to see whos doing what, or most likely, whos attacking you and who isnt.
