The issue for this got closed because it's not a bug.

honestly this isnt that big of a deal but it would be okay to see it fixed
i kinda like it since it gives you a chance to escape if you captor tries to grab you for whatever reason (throwing you on a surgery table, giving you swirlies, etc.)

Here's the real issue:

You can no long pull someone and grab them at the same time. If you're cuffed, you can still move when grabbed. Thus, changelings and shadowlings especially are fucked coming and going, the latter of which literally cannot convert without a chair, blocking them into a 1x1 area, gaze, or ignorance on the part of the cuff-ee, since you need to grab them (by the neck) and keep them from moving for a minute or so without killing them. Fairly sure a basic stun isn't enough, or is barely enough to get someone by the neck, which is kinda shitty.

The changes also acts as a secondary nerf on tabling. You can pull 'yourself' away from tabling someone, meaning it's that much tougher to table someone for a stun that isn't sufficient to even strip an ID. Great work, coderbus.

I agree that it kinda screws with em a bit.
but if you cntrl spam z you'll use active hand really fast and choke significantly faster.

it might lighten the problem even if it doesn't eliminate it entirely.

If you have someone restrained and are pulling them grabs should go straight to neck yes/yes
