If research has made BoH and the nuke is in an obvious place they probably deserve to stop their death

if the ops take so long that the crew gets bags of holding they've been flukes from the start, and are doubly flukes by failing to defend the nuke

I don't really agree with this suggestion because usually it's very unlikely to happen, and pretty clutch/hilarious if it does.

HOWEVER, especially with wardecs now, it would be very easy for certain powergamers to get 2 bohs + the pinpointer, after they've got the wardec, then simply hide from the ops, and follow them into space and either BoH their ship (along with the ops and the nuke inside) or simply wait for them to arm the nuke then just boh that when they fuck off.

Normally I would think that's too much of an edge case to care about, but 60% of nke rounds I see have multiple people flying around the station trying to find the op ship to weld in and space the nuke, so yeah.
Power gamers gonna power game.

Should have had people there to defend the nuke

Poly the Parrot - All Seeing Bird Transcends Universe, Joins Twitter.

Kofi - Make A Poor Life Choice

Good ideas backed by cruddy code since 2012!

There are multiple other things
Cult Shrine
Ascended Shadowling
Why is it that when shadowlings accomplish their objective, they can't get bag of holding'd, but nuke ops can?

nuke ops havent won until the bomb actually goes off

Ascendants are gods. A nuke is just a machine. It cannot stand up to Lord Singulo unless it explodes.

Fuck no. Hide the nuke better, or be sure to bomb RnD if its that much of a concern. Once ops are confirmed miners usually fuck off and never get mins to RnD anyways, let alone diamonds.

When exposed to a singularity, the nuke auto-detonates from the radiation. Everyone loses.

I always found Ascended slings being immume to singularity and bombs lame (they weren't in the first iteration). It feels very snowflake and that TINY shiver of hope no matter how small made post ascended sling a lot more fun and atmospheric.

"but but, slings already won by that time" Yeah fuck that, Ascended slings dying because of epic sacrifices or their own stupidity is fun.
