Ladies and gentleman, the year is 2016. Zombies are a hackneyed cliche that turn every round they grace into an eventual slog as people get bored of fighting simple mobs over and over and let themselves get killed and proceed to formulate elaborate plots to murder the rest of the crew with the limitations of being a simpletrash animal. The concept of an infectious, mindlessly violent antagonist is already embodied in this game in the form of the greyshit revolutionary which given the benefits of having hands and inventory slots at least holds the possibility of creative ventures instead of watching a poorly sprited green turd waddle around smacking things until they turn into poorly sprited green turds.. If you're going to have zombies, at least have *interesting* zombies. This is a sci-fi game, not some super gritty All Hope Is Lost The Walking Dead Isn't Played Out By Now modern day I Knew Buying This Neon Green Survival Machete Was a Smart Decision game. Have them vomit up spore clouds that refract the lasers you fire them. Let them rip their arms off and animate it to vent crawl to new prey. Let them shed their skin in a frothy black slurry of rot that creates a slippery slime trail behind them. Anything but fucking simple mobs.

Compared to 95% of the other memes, Zombies are bretty gud.

If zombies were slower but could break down doors/airlocks they'd be 100% better. Giving them full speed means your outbreaks look more like 28 weeks later and not the classic spooky zombie that's a better fit/balance for us.

If you don't like this change feel free to make 'infected' who can fill the current role of turbozombies that shut down a round in 2 minutes or less.
