you could also say
"even citadel doesn't use the ban on ERP."

when (thing disliked) doesn't have a quality, in what universe does that bode poorly for that quality? sounds like it speaks well of the supermatter if such a baaaaad server doesn't use it.

Supermatter is by far the best engine, and recently a map was forced through with a shitty engine, look how well that went

shame beardbeard hasn't been seen since july last year and the discussion about reviving this map got bogged down in this stupid engine debate
i don't see why it matters if this station has the singulo to be consistent with the original one. even so, it'd be worth switching to SM if it meant the map would get pulled

i'm concerned though that even if someone takes up the mantle of finishing this (and it doesn't look like there's been much interest for years now) it'll turn out like donut and even like box where compared to delta and meta they're pretty barebones and boring. the aesthetics of /tg/station mapping has come a long way since uterus, and even box

also here is a to-scale image of the last /tg/ version of uterus i made today because i couldn't find one with a higher resolution than in the op
the idea of reviving uterus is an extremely old one and maybe this will help someone realise it in future

So I've had a crack at remaking Uterus starting from the version Jalleo updated the paths on and linked in this thread last year.


It's a very early version of Uterus with the pipes all fucked up and a lot of issues including manual edits to vars that no longer exist and missing icons:

So far I have this, which represents hours and hours of work and it's nowhere near finished. Given the lack of interest, the tedium involved and the fact that it may just turn into another map like Donut or Pubby, I'm not sure I'll ever finish it. But I'm posting my progress here for the few people interested and to preserve it for future reference.

Sorry for a late reply but I just noticed your post about this cacogen.

The bit to the right was a ruin back on the map version I updated it on. I planned to incorporate it into a reworked version of uterus which needs a rework to properly add whats required. (I just had it to the right as a bit of a leave it there until I am ready to touch it). Its the same with the top left shuttles too they are the old syndicate and wizard shuttles that were static back then.

I was planning to have the science entrance stay where it is and move medical elsewhere. Toxin storage staying in science entrance area and the toxin test site would become the actual science with the transit tubes to move between and a mass driver setup to throw the canisters over.

Other stuff does need changing about too to make the station more playable and larger.

If you do the small uterus that should be good for low pop and means that its good for maybe thirty people max but the changes to chemistry and that will require for more space.
