With an operative ID from the syndicate hijack scene you can open the doors on the listening post, but turrets on syndie ships will still attack you, but for some reason they won't attack simplemob syndies with operative IDs (referring to the job "operative" not an agent card) The turrets attack everything else, which makes them surprisingly effective against the pirates in the same scene. Use the fighter to kill all the evaing pirates for you and go and grab the miniature energy gun and makarov on the NT freighter. Also the best way to hijack the syndicate fighter is to approach it from behind, and hack-bolt open the airlock. The pilot is not wearing spaceproof gear so if you jet away fast enough he will die (he does not drop his weapon on death, despite leaving a corpse with aforementioned operative ID. This can then be used to get into the syndicate dropship, open the airlock and deconstruct the wall's plating to depressurise the cabin, killing the pilot (he can't shoot you through the girder). However the fighter is simply way more OP at taking out pirates. Never tested it but I assume the pirate ship's turrets can be used to kill the remaining syndies and secure the scene (But I've never gotten that far). Useless because you don't have a high chance of finding the scene without some serious ghost/charlie station metagaming.

You sure? I just codedived to fact check that, and I couldn't find anything that'd imply that grinding a screwdriver would give you screwdriver.
