What is this ''god'' that i found?

Well, i was looking around tg station files while bored, and i found something called ''god'' it looked like a shadowling, is it a new feature or a abandoned feature?

it's been around for many years and according to git it predates tgstation as a branch (meaning it's been around for at least ~5 years).

As far as I know it was never used for anything beyond eventually being the sprite base for the shadowling ascendants.

there's a bunch of sprites in the code that haven't been used in ages but that we never got rid of

for example there's a whole other set of science airlock sprites with a slightly different shade of purple

I've seen it and a red-coloured one used during a God vs Satan event on Basil once. God kept trying to smite me with lightning but, fo some reason, I was immune which was humoruous to watch
