While the first title music was made specifically for SS13, which do you feel is a better 'theme' song? Which has stuck to you? Which do you think of every time you think about the lobby? Which do you think you'll hold nostalgia for down the line?
Personally for me it's robocop/title 2. A weird remixing of a gameboy song that has such an amazing spacey feel to it that it struck awe the first time I heard it while space exploring in a coffin, sipping coffee, back when ghetto space exploration was still super easy.

Tune #1 really captures the fun, zanny aspect of the game much better than tune #2.

I think both beautifully reflect the different sides of ss13. The first one as has been previously said is a really sick song and catches the spirit of ss13 as a space carnival disguised in station wardrobe. The second tune makes you feel the beauty of ss13's mere existence and the surreal world you've stepped into everytime you load up that browser.

For me, they're both completely equal in all aspects. I can't choose one or the other, they go hand in hand, to be without one eliminates the purpose of its opposite. I heard robocop.mp3 before I knew it was from anywhere else, and the Swing Theme is the same despite being made specifically for SS13. They're simply meant to go together as divine equals, and there couldn't be anything more or less. except clown.wmv

I was so sure that Robocop was the original theme, it fits too well. But Title 1 is a really catchy by itself and is definitely my favorite, sounds like a bonus round or something.

Both at the same time, but the robocop one reminds me of space and a bored spaceman waiting for a part of the station to blow up or a bloody man to run down the hallway. He wouldn't intervene to either scenario, but it's just to see it; give him some entertainment if you will. It fits the chaotic but lackidaisical feel of ss13 along with the retro vibe that ss13 had at one point.

That's actually Bay's theme, but I've always felt like it doesn't fit with the tone and feel of SS13. Too calm, too drawn-out and meandering, too serious. Feels like a 'Classic' space tune, something I'd associate with 2001's serious tones more than SS13's coffee-powered firesuit-clad spacemanning. TUNE 1 - That Jazz theme is just so much better, dynamic and fun to listen to. Id have no problem putting this as my damn ringtone on the phone.
