You're joking here, but I've seen something close actually happened. Basically, security arrested the captain, put her into permabrig, managed to fuck up executing her and laid siege to perma for around 20 minutes before finally managing to kill her. Why did they do it? Because a gang member, using a security channel, told them that he's the captain, and the real captain is an imposter. And ordered her execution.
