How do you even get banned in SS13?

Something I've always wondered is how you get banned at all. I've been playing for 3 years all the way from the first /vg/station, to goon, LLA, /tg/station, and now goon. I have never been banned, not even a job ban.

What does it take to get banned?

nothing, you get banned for bad reasons and were all innocent and all the admins should be lit on fire

also we should make admin-notes public

It's the exact opposite on goon. If you do something questionable they will jot it down. That way if something comes up with you then they can see if being shit is in your blood. So basically they use it as a personality assessment as well as a shit list.

Play Security and it's guaranteed that sooner or later it will happen. Not saying you'll snap and kill some shitler - though that's likely, but even more likely is, that one round you'll just join and the station is already in such chaos that you don't know what to do and accidentally you just do the most wrong possible thing, which will lead to a ban of few hours.

One instance of mistaken identity IC in OOC I can remember. Maybe some times I was adminblooped and questioned were recorded as warnings? I dunno.
