Dominance Of NTR Hut

While browsing the forums, as I oft do, I've noticed how dominate the NTR Hut is. Today alone almost half of all posts/activity on this forum seems to be occurring in a NTR Hut thread, being more accurate 25 of 58 threads with activity today are all NTR Hut threads.

Perhaps I'm idealistic or naive but it feel that this overload of shitposting threads is off putting, or at the very least distasteful. Though it may just be my dislike of constant shitposting is breaking through.

I'm not suggesting any action should be taken, or is even warranted, I'm more just airing my grievances. This more so stems from my earlier interactions with NTR where my threads would sometimes be moved to the NTR Hut.

I agree that the 'off topic discussions' on forums tends to be the more active areas of many forums.

However referencing other forums I browse/browsed, the off topic areas were usually more curated to a extent. Meaning that there were a few select threads up at a time that see a lot of activity. Whereas for here we have a lot of threads with middling activity for the most part, with a few threads that remain commonly active for extended periods.

actually true, good threads get lost to the shed now and then that could go in off topic, threads that are serious and specifically about video games go in the shed instead of the video games board, art threads that could go in spriting and mapping are lost
it's a real problem but not one that we can easily solve without mods moving threads with more frequency

Threads getting moved to the shitpost forum is a consequence of those threads being a hive of shitposts. Your grievance is not with the hut itself, your grievance is with your threads getting put there.
