Lavaland is the only way an adventure zone can really work on /tg/.

Since nothing can be closed source, we need to rely on random generation. As much as I'd love some quality handcrafted dungeons, it just isn't feasible when there will be maps on the wiki before its even merged.

Im glad I didn't stay on Goon, closed source was the biggest meme in SS13 history.

All closed source meant was that a handful of powergamers and coderfriends held all the cards in a round. I learned the secrets of genetics from a coder and proceeded to murder the entire station back when Xray would let you hit people with melee weapons through walls - only reason such a pathetically balanced system existed was because "closed source" genetics required unstable mutagen, which the average player would never figure out and thus only a few of us could ever abuse it.
