GTA Online (PC)

Post by Arty » #113615

If anyone wants to play this cheater-filled mess (and maybe even have fun) with me then my Social Club is Cheremenin
Might also want to add me there just in case, too

My primary character is lvl 25 and has about 5 mil GTA$ because early in the days I unexpectedly ran into a modder who spawned like a thousand of money bags above me and R* never took them away so whatever

I'm up for anything except some shittier PvP jobs/modes.
Also if you want we can trade race wins on Criminal Records or this

I got everything unlocked pretty much so I just cruise around in outfits and cars of characters from other games.

A rather useless and pointless bump, but god damn, Cockstar are the biggest fucking faggots ever
I mean how do you even just keep fucking up after so much negative feedback already?

GTA 5 Online is just a bunch of hackers. Even at the best of times, roaming the open world is essentially playing single player with the occasional completely random and unwanted death. I would have preferred if all of it was just single player side missions instead.

I've basically abandoned GTA 5 Online a few missions in. Single player is great, but multiplayer is very bad for a game with such a budget.

You know what? I try really hard to like GTAO but it just becomes more and more of an unfun, greedy cash grab with time.

The idea of a massive, charismatic, completely open-ended sandbox with elements from tens of different games is a really, really neat one, it greatly appeals to me, but its implementation is beyond horrifying. I do realize that R* don't have much experience doing online, but holy shit. Even JC2MP is done better in almost every way.

I log in from time to time seeing the same shit - shark cards being shoved into your face, hackers in every lobby, sky high prices for new things from recent updates, no new/decent ways to earn XP and/or cash (thus it's a closed loop of milking shark cards), very shady business tactics from R* and now Take-Two (like, if that shit is real - who the fuck would even send PI's to stop a mod from being developed? Also I bet FiveM or whatever would be WAY more fun than this default piece of shit garbage MP)

I tried playing it again yesterday after a few months' break but then left due to too much hacker rage (aka an extremely annoying arabic kid with a mic spawned tons of crap around me then crashed me, also kept telling me what to do).

I guess if they have actually fixed moneybag miniguns then I finally quit for real this time, fuck that shit.

The thing that redeems GTA 5 in my eyes is that the single player alone is worth the price. GTAO would have been great and an awesome added value, but I don't feel ripped off because it didn't end up working out. :D

I've got every car I want. All I can do is cruise around and make new people shoot at me.

So yeah that new update. Let's you hire people and own yachts.

I paid 10 million for my yacht. Named it after SS13 and holy shit thanks cuckstar they fucked up the engraved spelling on it.

I hire pubbies into my syndicate and have them fly me around while I drink wine and watch porn in my luxurious chopper.

Image

The SS13 warship, where we smoke weed and drink literal shit. If you stand on the deck and listen closely you can hear faint cries of pubbies that tried to storm the ship in droves.

The brand new Shelby, royally fucked by daman.

Right, let me know if you want to join the highway cruises and the yacht orgies that come after.

Yacht orgies may consist of the driver taking incredibly hard turns so the crew, all fully clothed, are thrown into a pile in the middle of the room.

I tried to play it, I wanted to like it

awful loading times, shitty network connections and minimum 4 player parties ruined it.

Christmas event in full swing. Bunch of exclusive seasonal stuff plus the entire map is covered in snow that makes driving cars difficult.

Repping SS13 in the tub getting comfy.
