Monster relies on one person to do good. If they fuck up that's on them. A single hunter relies on 3 other people. If
ANYONE in the hunter group fucks up against a competent monster, it's over. People quit playing as it's frustrating to deal with dumb as hell people ruining their fun time.

It is incredibly easy to escape as a monster, you have very fast traversal regen before perks. If you take all feeding speed perks you can get across the map and get stage 2 before they can even find you.
Not to mention health damage by hunters in the first dome is usually pitiful in pubs as the dome ends when the monster loses a bar or 2, and they get most of that back when they evolve. If the hunters don't get any health damage before stage 2 it's pretty much game unless it's a premade group, or it's against wraith.
