I'd be more excited if there was more game visible, but hey early on.

Seems like they have a few professionals on board though:

- Immersive 3D world created by Dan Raihert (Environmental artist on Dead Space 3, The Sims 3)
- Atmospheric SFX by Eli Hason (Senior Sound Designer on Thief (2014))

Hi, I'm Joe Yeates, the technical lead over at Autelia.
Sorry to necro the thread but I know some of you were worried that there was not enough info. So I thought I'd let you all know that the dev blog is now active at the Human Orbit website: http://www.humanorbit.com/blog/

There have been a lot of questions asked and answered in the bay12 forum already, but I'd love to answer any questions you have here as well. Please fire at will.
I hope its moddable.
It is. ;)

I find it interesting that you are focusing on the idea of the AI being an outsider interfering in human conversations and daily life, as I am primarily studying networked communication right now.

It looks like an interesting concept, but I've suffered through hypes ending in disappointment a few too many times lately so I'll reserve my judgement for when I actually can play it.

on the arrival shuttle, I saw the iconic toolbox on the ground. I clubbed myself in the head with it trying to figure out the controls.

I've come a long ways from asking how to switch hands.

The HoP just toolboxes someone to death out of nowhere, then gets speared by a chemist who saw him murder a guy, then the chemist gets beaten to death because someone else saw him kill the HoP.
Tele-man somehow dies and gets its looted by an atmos tech who managed to use it to send two nuke ops to lavaland, who were then surrounded by several very angry people from earlier and some extra golems on top of it.
Captain dies, gets cloned/revived, lasers the guy holding the disk into crit to take it back.
Some idiot tries to welderbomb the AI hiding out at mining for no discernible reason.
Two permabans and a dayban, i'm expecting a snarky appeal from one of them soon. What the fuck.
