Anyone else playing Nier: Automato

I think I'm getting pretty close to Ending A. Fantastic game so far. I'm about 11 hours in because I've been doing a lot of the sidequests and I didn't know about the fast travel system.
The music is phenomenal. All the tracks change dynamically depending on where you are in an area or if you get into combat. The bosses have all been really over-the-top and awesome. The writing is fantastic, some of it's really silly but some of the sidequests are real bleak.

Combat is kind of style over substance, even with Platinum on-board. It's real flashy but mostly just comes down to pick the weapons that feel the best to you/have the highest numbers and mash x and y.

Apparently people are having issues with the PC port but works on my machine tbh

It was really really cool. I really liked the different phases and how each one played a little different.

I forgot all about the butt due to the game not being the easy quicksave guaranteed save before each boss fight formula I've gotten accustomed to. I'm not too far into the story??? and I wish it picks up a little, although the park bit did make me feel.

Music is absolutely great.

this is probably going to be one of those games that is everywhere and I dismiss it because I'm broke and it doesn't interest me and then I play it years later and think it's alright

The spider mode kinda freaked me out, and then it just ignited and started going crazy. The dead android corpses everywhere was also kind of unsettling but really cool. It's probably the best fight I've done so far, but the first Adam fight was very cool as well. I liked how he kind of evolved as you fought him, and the buildup and music alongside it was really fucking good.
I really like how they're kind of just doing whatever the fuck they want with these fights, going between hack n slash, bullet hells, the hacking minigame in the amusement park boss, flight suit section with the goliath, etc.

I love how seamless the various soundtrack transitions were, especially when going in and out of the hacking minigame.

Also Jesus lord high cut leotard hell yes.

So far, this is my GOTY, Yoko Taro finally made it, creating both an inspired game, that was also fun to play.

Also, Ending E, I wasn't ready for the feelings. I expected some awful ending where everyone died in pain and another universe was also destroyed, instead, Taro made me feel.

It's funny how in the first Nier giving up everything was a requirement for the final ending, and still I wasn't much into it, but in here I did it even though the game does it's best to dissuade you.
