Everytime an inquisitor shows up it crashes me. Pretty funny the first time it happened. Some big Eldar Fleet was next to me, so I decided to go fight it for shits and giggles. I did a space battle and had 100% losses, and killed no Eldar ships in the process. Suddenly, the Inquistor wants to inspect me and I can't help but feel he's going to fuck me over once he finds out an Eldar fleet mashed my sorry ass. So 4 turns later he shows up, and boom crash. The Inquisitor was obviously not pleased.

I've so far only crashed for raiding planets that seem to have no enemies on them, Inquisitor's work fine for me.
One thing that's really annoying though is Crusades, they always go off the side of the screen for me and then I lose my fleet.

New update is up. Less bugs, buildable ships, stuff. Also lots and lots of names. If you get Alpharius or Omegon then praise me, for i punched the names through. Same as Orthodontus.

Middle of pimping my dreads to all have multi meltas.
They all vanish from my forces screen half way through companies.

Better than a crash I guess?

Doomed with benefits is working out really well who needs stupid recruits or gene seed with 1 scout casualty after purging half the orks? Recruits come in slowly anyways, is the highest recruit/training speed really heretical or are my advisers just big drama queens?

Buying shit off the mechanicus, seems to work I had a spare mk8 suit after buying a random artifact and I have tech priests... not sure if they do anything but I have em. Warning any of the non-starting weapons don't have combat flavour yet, still killy though.

Uh, only Ultra Smurfs, Blood Emos, and some second founding chapter I cant remember anything about except they probably spend most of their days reciting bad poetry.

Meh, where's my Space Wolves/Imperial Fists/Angry Marines?
Aka the chapters that rightly told Silliman to shove his Codex up his Asstightus


I guess Salamanders are alright, aside from the whole Black Face thing

Also seems very buggy, my entire 1st chapter disappeared for some reason (unless my ship carrying them was lost to the warp or something and no message was displayed)

Pretty enjoyable and fun, buggy and really needs a more refined UI (Let me jump to events or tell which Ships have Marines stationed in them without me having to flip through 50 menus).

Jesus.

Starting my own random Chapter and suddenly I've got a Tau expedition right ontop of my recruiting world, a bunch of systems overrun with Orks, a nice ring of Tyranids surrounding my part of the system, one corner of the system under Tau control and some Necrons waking up around.

What exactly are you having trouble with Tedward? The basics of playing the game are not so complicated that you could not just learn by doing. You played cataclysm to some point so we know you are breddy smart at videogames.

Space combat can go out the window. Not only do even the most basic, and weakest, ships cost a ludricious amount of resources (From the most pathetic "escort" ships costing 2000 resources to the biggest ship costing 20,000 resources) but they are unreliable.

You can't control or direct your ships in combat, and I've found that half the time my ships won't even fire on the enemy after destroying one or two ships, meaning I had a round where I lost about six strike cruisers to a single Ork escort craft because they all refused to fire on the last ship.

You lose ships so easily I cannot fathom how your meant to maintain a effective aeroforce at all with your in game income.

Wow, in last update blood ravens and scavengers perk were added.
- we have been ,, gifted " assault cannon
- we have been ,, gifted " three suits of terminator armour
- we have been ,, gifted " heavy bolter
- we have have been ,, gifted " dreadnought chasis

And actually you can control your ships in combat by clicking them, if your chapter master is present in battle, or you have kings of space advantage.
Them not firing became an issue only in this update, seems some bug. Same as orbital defence lasers of your world not working.
Maintaining effective aeroforce starts from choosing first founding chapter, they start with three battle barges, also if you get lucky,you can find dark age of technology ship in ancient ruins, with it you can smite even tyranids, but its rare event, huh.

Space Marines, despite their name, aren't really supposed to be dealing with Navy and stuff, the crafts they have are supposed to be escorting them around and don't really do much else, maybe blast some random ork ships. In actual Wh40k to fight other ships you should send Imperial Navy first, but... they just don't care in the game. :I

Space Marines are masters of zero-g boarding and combat in their suits. They aren't crews of their ships, regular humans crew those ships, and those ships were specifically designed after Horus Heresy to not let Marines get all the power. So if there was another event of mass Space Marine heresy Navy could deal with them, opposed to Horus Heresy when legions got Gloriana-class battleships that were about 25 kilometers long, while biggest regular battleships in 40k are around 5-6km.
Battle Barges and Strike Cruisers have most armor and shields, but their space weaponry is lacking, they also don't have a lot of bombers and fighters, if any. Imperial Navy on other hand, has tens of battleships, hundreds of cruisers (including carriers), supported by countless escorts.

AFAIK you can find a Volkite weapon as an artifact (very high chance it will be corrupted) but it's so powerful that it just needs to be rare.

Is there any way to regain loyalty? I got a -30 loyalty hit with the dark angels for failing to catch a Fallen, and no matter how many inquisition missions or crusades I do, it doesn't raise.

The creator is apparently working on a new off-map invasion system, taking into account how peaceful your sector is. That would go a long way in spicing up the game when you defeat all those Orks.

IG and imperial navy can solve all the problems except ork/ heretic massive shipspawn. So if you surgically destroy ship producing capabilities of bad guys, you win. When navy delievers IG to the planet, it usually drops 280090475956000000900000900092345 men( not literary, it really drops such numbers) even the necrons on tombworlds, the tyranid hive and demons in the freaking hole into the warp have no chance against this supreme imperial tactic of troop concentration. I would not even speak, how miserable are tau efforts, when those numbers are deployed onto their worlds.

Grabbed this lately, solved all the problems in my sector

Now it's whack-a-cultist
Sadly necron tombs appear to be bugged, they can't be deactivated when you drop your entire chapter on the planet and just push them back into their tomb, blow up the entrance...And the game tells you its deactivated, but it keeps on spawning more anyway

Can't seem to destroy them either
Sadly my master plan of letting the ork waagh and tyranids fight eachother also didn't work, the two just sorta sat on the same planet and did nothing

Great game, needs work though. Surprised it actually has that work done on it

Off map invasions implemented
Khorne chaos lord implemeted
Ecclesiarchy forces implemented
Boarding implemented aka you can actually engage in space combat now( however, comandeering ships is for the next patch, now its just cripple ship systems/ set up plasma bomb inside ship)
