uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I want to be so excited but I realized I don't have a good console, I have like a 1st gen xbox 1 but doesn't look that good in games tbh
so unless I shell out for like a ps4 or something don't think I'll be playing anytime soon

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
Was the first one even any good?
I remember it came out, was talked about for maybe a week and then slipped right into obscurity

The best the sequel can possibly do is be as good as the original.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
First one was really really good, but suffers badly from being saddled with a ton of dumb shit you have to do near the beginning like herd cattle and stuff. GTA5's singleplayer was much better in this regard so I am hoping Rockstar has finally learned their lesson about shit like that being mandatory to progress.
No PC release is a fucking drag but i recently got a piss4 so who knows maybe ill buy it

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
I reckon there won't be a PC release because the online component isn't strong enough to stop piracy like GTA5, and they've been shitty enough that both regular pirates, and people who only pirate from shitty companies are going to hit them.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
Seems like a poor reason to me tbh
GTA V netted them over 12 million sales on PC alone, so it's not like they don't have a market there
RDR was probably their second best game in comparison to GTA V so it just makes little sense to gut a large chunk of their sales

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
Fuck you guys i liked RDR 1. It had fun multiplayer moments like the time me and like 6 randos filled an entire stagecoach and all hung out of it shooting guns until one guy in the back shot off one of our wheels and we crashed and the time a bunch of spawnkillers threw a fit because 4 of them couldnt catch and kill this one fat Mexican on a donkey who kept throwing dynamite and saying "cervesa per favor" over the mic

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2: no hype edition
Maybe it's just an Americunt thing that doesn't translate outside the country but the western themes and story I thought were great and I loved prettymuch every part of the game.
I would imagine it's the same way that Britcucks and Europoors jerk it over any chance to be a medieval man and curtsy to lordlings in a suit of platemail, but I loved being a shitty dirty outlaw cowboy man who goes into the saloon and cheats at cards then kills a man in the street when he gets called out, goes back inside, drinks a shot of whiskey, and sits down at the table again to play another hand minus one player.
I'm gonna keep cheatin', and if you call me out on it the undertaker's gonna have two jobs waitin' for him in the mornin'.
