Gifted tedward this game and started a match. 4 hours later lines in the sand was drawn and I'm on the defensive against 3 out of 4 AIs, least I have 5 castles and level 8 Enchantments.

2. Put it here: C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Roaming\Dominions4\mods

3. Enable these mods: Band of the Hawk / Blood War / Cryastia / Gifts for All / Holy War / More pretenders / Underhome

Theres two other faction mods but dont let some the errors fool you, they still work - sometimes. One faction is about King Arthur and the such.

the only mod worth playing btw is /domg/'s balance mod. 99% of the faction mods are horribly broken and all the others are dubious at best.

I've never won an AI game. I probably got close once, but had to reinstall Windows and my saves gots deleted. Because it's unreasonable to expect steam cloud at this point.

I do learn by proxy from a friend who keeps linking /domg/ stuff, but most of that goes above my head for the specifics
