Gaddamn hard mode is so... hard! Sometimes they just start you right in front of enemies or gun nests. You got like no time to get your bearings.

The plot is really just a vehicle for ballin' murder sprees. A but less so than HM1, but still, don't stress out about it too much.

Game was okay not as good as HM1

Large levels were annoying. Kept getting killed from off-screen and I had to keep baiting enemies around corners to kill them.

The story was all over the place too and was all around depressing instead of just freaky like HM1.

Oh Christ.

Looks like I'm casul as fuck. I just tried Hard mode last night, and holy shit, it is fucking insane how disorienting all the maps being flipped is.

I hadn't touched it after I beat it on Normal, because it wasn't as fun as HM1, right? But holy cocks, I couldn't even get through the first level. I got stomped as Corey on the first Fans level's floor, and then I sorta quit the second floor because of how much of a bitch the first segment is on the second floor.

maybe the wrong thread since im not sure if we had one for midnight animal but hey you know that mod midnight animal that was coming out on steam and had the dope trailer?

store page was updated and now it's called "Midnight Animal: A Story of Love and Forgetting"
the author scrapped the old story and art style and also straight up called the game a top-down role playing game with the style of a VN
